1929 George Lloyd, Lady Emma Hamilton, and her violin
After being accepted as a pupil by Albert Sammons, it was clear that George needed a good instrument, and by extraordinary good fortune, a fine 18th Century violin made by John Betts, was found for him through a family connection.
