‍The George Lloyd Society
‍  Newsletter - October 2025

Greetings  ‍Visitor ‍

‍

This Newsletter is long overdue. Health problems have kept me out of the office for a few months, but I am now on the road to recovery, although still waiting for the return of my driving licence.  The EuropaDisc special offer of 25% off all Lyrita titles ends on Sunday 26th, so I hope this reaches you in time. Technical problems with migrating our website have required burning much midnight oil over the last few days....

Reminder: assistance with music hire costs.

Lyrita's new editions of the full scores and the orchestral parts for hire and sale are available at their standard music hire tariff.

Whilst Lyrita Nimbus is committed to enabling performances at all levels, this may not include the level of hire discount which the George Lloyd Society has previously offered to amateur or semi-professional ensembles. We have therefore allocated a proportion of our annual royalties to a George Lloyd Performance Fund, which we intend will replace that discount and lower the cost of music hire in those cases.

Please contact us if you would like to apply for a hire discount from the Performance Fund and we will be happy to assist if we can.

‍With best wishes for the concert season...
